Is there an information sheet somewhere? With sign in times, start times, etc? How long is a lap? and whats the terrain like? :)

more info would be good, can we catch the ferry, race and go home same day or will we need to stay overnight due to ferry sailings?

There's flyer on our web site. WMBC.co.nz, Track is about 7 k's . The first 100 mtrs is a straight gradual climb, then free flowing , burmed corners and a couple of tech'y bits all the way back to the start. It's all single track apart from the Start/finish field, where people can park their cars also. good riders approx 15min/lap , most around 20 mins, Teams of 3 is the way to it, or less. Come over and enjoy, It's a relaxed atmosphere, with a comradely edge. :)

You can go back any time or stay over , A couple of shuttles will operate between the passenger ferry sailings or bring a car over. good back packers and Regional park camp site 2 mins from event. Riding to event will take approx 30 mins.. "good warm up"

A bit more information on the event, it's only 3 weeks away!

Facebook Event Page: https://www.facebook.com/events/392000254266231/
WMBC Page: http://www.wmbc.co.nz/

$30 pre-register online or $40 on the day.
Registration starts @ 10am, so you can sleep in.

Duration is 4 hours and you race as a team or solo for you enduroz :p

Here's the track a la strava http://app.strava.com/segments/4173004 with the start finish on the field to the right.

If you want to come over for a ride around the course or the island for the matter and would like a guided tour I'd me more than happy to show you around (mon/tues or sunday arvos).

@slidecontrol you can definitely catch the ferry, race and go home same day so it doesn't need to take up the whole weekend (wish they could do something similar for the barrier 'Wharf 2 Wharf' *hint) timetables below......Fuller's: http://www.fullers.co.nz/ do the ferry's from downtown to Waiheke (bikes travel free on ferry) they also run the bus service here too, if you want to bring the car over Sealink: http://www.sealink.co.nz/timetables-and-fares/timetables.html run a pretty frequent service too.

I might try and borrow a GOPRO or similar and shoot a lap.
