Its a server load issue isnt it, so when the most people are surfing vorb (8ish) its more likely to happen.

For me it breaks down for several minutes at exactly 8pm, although it comes and goes at other times.

Okay I shall be on it like a hawk tonight at 8pm. I may be too drunk by then to do anything constructive. but at least I can restart mysql which will get you mainlining again quickly

Possibly something at my end (although every other site has been working fine) - couldn't get on to vorb for quite a few hours. Thought it might have been some overnight work to fix stuff but judging by Rik's post above he had far more fun plans...

Edit - just seen Oli and Matt's replies - seems it wasn't just me.
