Riverhead This Sunday?

Managed to get a day off work, who's keen to show me around riverhead?

I know the sprints are on at woodhill but I think id rather just crusie around riverhead. Have yet to go for a trail ride there.

Anybdody keen or are ya all going to the sprints?

In the morning, maybe the carpark at 10? although I dont know which carpark yet, we can sort it.

Was hoping to ride for maybe 3 hours or so?

ill be on my SS hardtail so the trails with more downhills prefered but dont mind having to ride to the top slowly

I could be keen, but dont know if my fitness is up to it, haven't managed many rides of late. If it's more leisurely than full on it would be sweet.

Never been to riverhead before but can have a car going from the north shore.

Its more of a Sunday cruise, explore. Ill be dragging a big heavy single speed so im no speed racer either.

Will probably meet up at freeriden before hand so we can pick up a map or two and have a chat to see whats the best trails and such.

Should be good, ive never been for a decent ride there yet.

Riverhead is totally awesome, had a kind dude show us around. It blows woodhill out of the water imo. Longer climbs but rewarded with longer downhills.

It came apparent I need to work on my fitness!!

You need to work on your fitness? Yea will be doubling the new regime to get myself up those hills.

Will take the bike in during the week see wats up with the shock, hopefully just needs tuning, still under warrenty luckily.

So be keen on another day at riverhead at some point, it seems like the kinda place you need a guide tho.

I have ridden a fair bit at riverhead and still finding new trails there, pretty much get lost every time i go there, lemme know when u go next cause i'll be pretty keen to check out other areas that other people may know of. Especially before it turns into a mud bath again
