Track Conditions

Postby hotshothendo on Tue 21/Dec/10 10:10pm

been out for a lap tonight and there is a tree down in carpet gully, well, not completely down but you cant ride under it. i haven't got a chainsaw, and would take a while with my swiss army knife.

seems like all the plants have grown super fast so next time i head out it will be with secateurs.

pffttt - just get out there and do it maing. Track is very overgrown, but someone has volunteered to go down and do a little scrub cutting. Hopefully a few members might actually pull finger and pitch in.

I should grab a scrub cutter on the days the boys are at preschool. But I would prolly do it in the evening since its cooler.

I have filled a couple of nasty ruts/holes in the last few weeks.

Many thanks to all those that have helped with the track over the holidays awesome
Chris smith and myself have sprayed all the sand pit so if people can refrain from trimming the grass until it dies would be much appreciated we will do a big clean up before club racing starts up again
Please feel free to trim the overhanging stuff at head height ;) :)

IMPORTANT TRACK NOTICE
Please exercise extreme caution on the bridges between the inner and outer park as one has been washed away and impassable!

The bridge is taped off and should be avoided until repairs have been completed next week.
