What about Megan Dimozantos and Tony Hogg who are also racing the Solo Worlds? Bad form not mentioning the others racing, even if the press release is about Thomas defending his title. It just needs a simple one liner.

Good luck Thomas! 600m of technical climbing and descending per lap, averaging quicker than one lap an hour for 24hrs. Ouch. The TDF never looked so easy

Thomas has the ace up his sleeve of strange facial expressions and licking motions that he implements to psych out other competitors. That and the Ellsworth is a work of art

I did a bit of training with him in New Ply, apparently the Niners got called back to manufacturer (dunno if you'd heard this already) so I think he was gunna race the Ellsworth.

Yeah big ups to Tony Hogg. He smashed us this year in the 24 hours of Nduro, there were a lot of people pulling out with tears in their eyes after his hard-out effort on the front. I reckon he's on for a podium at the worlds this weekend... go Tony.

He is racing the Ellsworth (so I am not sure where the Ellsworth has been sold story came from) and supposedly a Niner. Which as at yesterday's report, the frame hadn't yet turned up in Canmore to be fitted out. There were meant to be two Niners but one got recalled when enroute to NZ and the other was to be sent to Canmore direct. :hmmm:

I think Thomas will be turning his attention more towards downhill longboarding than mountain biking in the years to come. Either that or synchronised artistic parking.

He had it on Trademe a while back, just assumed it had sold.
