Numb Nuts

Postby frogger on Fri 10/Jul/09 4:12pm

I have just got into road cycling in the last few months, started doing a few longer rides but I have a question for all you blokes out there, do your steely dans and johnson go numb? or is that not normal

Definitely not normal, sounds like you need to get a bike fit done by someone who knows what they're doing

Had it on odd occasions after some longer rides(150-200km). Small saddle angle adjustment fixed it.

Might have something to do with your packing too, but I'm not going there. :paranoid:

get a bike fit done, the seat position and height will probably be the issue, or you are just too big!!
also stand up often and give eh some relief

I had a fit done, may be I just need to drop the front of the seat down a bit? kids are all done so this may be a cheap option to the Vas man?????
