can't decide whether to do the ratbike thing (which would be cheaper) or full on really nice build. I also quite like the idea of some Lester or Morris mags: I know someone who has a set but wants gold for them. Also undecided: front end to use (there is one usable 750 set) brakes to use (compared to modern standards old bike brakes are atrocious) and a hundred other things.

I also need to get rid of my NC30 project as well.

You have excellent taste! definetly get some pictures up of your progress

Here is what my build will end up like in the end (full rat bike styles  )

Ah you young fullas and your shiny motorsickles, spose you ride one of them new fangled suspension mountainbikes eh.

Ha I say, nothing like riding a crusty hand change, just like an old hardtail fullnoise downhill, eyeballs blurred, teeth rattling, always out of control, the full 50mm of travel working overtime.

Its a 1929 AJS 500 engine slotted into a 1928 350 frame and fork, pisses the restorers right off.

Right, this thread needs some smack talk!
24 bikes but so many tiddlers and so few mans bikes - only one bigger than a 600 :p
Bikes are about 1000cc+ musclebikes doing 4th gear 200kph wheelies :satan:

748SP is on my track bike wish list. One day.

mate was around with his new ride the other day, 996R - with a few carbon mods. I am allowed to ride it whenever I likes

If i do ever return to the twisting wrist club, will more than likely be on a commuter motard. I'm thinking 350-500cc water cooled single with sticky rubber.

Or a turbo'd V-Max
