Mtb Trail Building Jobs In Chile

The Rotorua trail building crew headed up by James Dodds (from MTB Skills Clinics) and Jeff Carter (from Southstar Shuttles) are in Chile building mountain bike tracks in the hills about Lago la Paloma. We are looking for trail builders to join us for 3 month building stints. The crew members get flights, food, accomodation and a good wage paid in $NZ.

Oh this has got to be a late april fools joke! A bit late for that eh Jeff. That looks brilliant, a dream job for sure... Whoever joins them I shall be very jealous of... I wonder if there is some way I could make it work for me???

I can see the Jan trip filling up quick, If i was still a student that would be my summer job

Mmmm wish I could drop the real job for a few months and head over... would be a really good job i am sure! So many of us here that just build trails in our own time... actually getting paid for it would be great!!

As an aside, I know that Gravity (Bolivia and now Peru) are always looking for more workers too. You could fly over, dig for a few months and then hook up some mountain bike guiding work with them...

Well I was looking forward to heading back to chch after my stint in Bolivia, but maybe i´ll be seeing ya'll in Chile.... sounds too good to be true.

Awesome. Just had a look at the info and i´m jealous as hell of anyone who gets to do this. We spent a couple of months cycle touring around this area at the end of last year and it was fucking amazing.
To anyone who is vaguely considering this idea, stop thinking, just do it.
