Hello And Lift Access Question

Postby bkoz on Thu 13/Nov/08 11:39pm

I will be doing some travelling in New Zealand from Nov 18 to the beginning of December. I was hoping somedbody could point me in the direction of a lift access downhill/freeride mtb park. I won't be able to bring my bike so I will have to rent. Thanks for any advice, I am looking forward to my trip.

:pmob: I'm out of the country but my understanding is that Coronet Peak, and Dirt Park (Snow Park) will have the lifts open this summer. Dont know about Treble Cone this year, there's nothing on their website? Neither are open till late Dec/early Jan by the look of it though.

:pmob: I've heard that Dirt Park is trails only this year - no park? (ie no lift access, just shuttles).

I know but I have to rent a bike and gear. I cannot bring my stuff with me. And I will be riding alone. A bike park is my best bet.

Coronet Peak is probably your best bet
