Commuter-newish To Vorb

Postby Commuterdin on Sat 23/Aug/08 11:41pm

Had a login a few years ago, but to my shame did not use it much. So I'm here to try again.

I commute 33km a day. Been commuting around 11years here and the UK.

Just one question:

Why do so few Kiwi commuters not use a helmet mounted mirror?

Just out of curiosity, do you ride a recumbent?

Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the newbie cyclist through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the builder of ridiculously bright DIY halogen bicycle lights. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brother commuter. My thoughts would be that people think they don't look cool. Unfortunately a lot of riders would rather look cool than be safe. Take me for example I could never bring myself to wear one of those high vis vests but I know that it could mean the difference between being hit or not...........

Recumbents (the three wheeled kind) are awesome. especially off road.
