Where Did You Run Today?

Postby Malcy on Mon 21/Jul/08 8:21pm

There is a roadie "where did you ride" and an MTB "where did you ride". I figured a where did you run thread could work.

Tonight, Hunter St to Waitangi park, up Kent, Adelaide all the way to Island bay, then around the Esplande to Queens Drive and then Onepu Road to home. According to Map My Run, that's about 13 and a half km. Nice.

1 hr 16 (I ain't a fast man).

So, who's gonna play too?

:)

So I am working on it. Aiming for 5hr 30 for the race. You?

best result would be sub 5hrs. anything close would be ok though. last year was 5:19 with big cramp issues on the run.

Wow!

Nice!

Mine, 6:50, I think? First ever, still weighed too much, went out too hard on the bike so my run was about 6 out of the 21kms. I finished though, so that was good enough for me.

Managed to make it 5 legs too!! So that's mint.

6 counting the MTB the next day, though that might not have been the smartest thing I have done.

nice work fifth legging it!
I was one of the fools adding yet another leg, the 200m sprint after the gun to the water. not the ideal way to begin an endurance event!

What is this "run" you speak of? :eh:

Is that what you do when the pies are almost gone and you need pie? :paranoid:

not so silly as that, My SO was doing her first HIM that day, and I spent too long helping her get her stuff together. Poor thing was a nervous wreck to the point where she didn't want to even enter the water.
