Prob the best place to try out MTBO - at least you can find your way out if you get lost!!
See you there on Sun...

Register from 10am, starts 11-12. Sequence event by Andrew McLellan and John Randal. C1 and C2 will use the MTB park, C3 is a beginner course round Karori Park, C99 is a combination of C2 and C3 tailored to your abilities.
I got all worked up sifting around in the back of Karori Park scoping out places to put controls. Some interesting stuff in Makara Peak too even for those of you who know it well.
Cheap and cheerful: $20 for non-members, $10 for members, and you get to take home a lovely map of the area.

Next round at Wainui. I'm hoping to be able to ride out there. I'll probably enter even if I can't ride just for the map!

I have never heard of this series, and I would go to the opening of a paper bag
