Sastre is widely regarded as having been clean his entire career - never a question of any doping around him. Plus CSC have some of the best independent doping monitoring of any team.

Plus, he didn't look like he was "doing it easy" to me - he looked like he was putting it all on the line.

Sometimes a good result can come from hard work and strong self-belief; it doesn't always have to mean doping.

Frank has already admitted he will never win the tour now, so they're down to two

Another point - he finished 12th on the stage, so it's not like he dominated. In fact, he's finished better than that in TTs many times before.

If Cadel had been on a better day and the hot still conditions didn't suit Sastre so well it might have been a different story...

Dodgy call... I'd be really surprised if he was dirty. Oli's right that he's never been connected with any of the noted dodgy doctors or riders. He comes across as a humble but committed rider who values his team and I think a most deserving champion.

Yeh I can't think of anyone else that deserves a grand tour win than Sastre.
He has been a faithful team man for a long time.
He was hurting last night, It was quite obvious he has put some serious effort into his positioning on the TT bike and its paid dividends.
The rider with the lowest time and the better rider will win this tour.

This may have been discussed already, but did Sastre have some kond of bio-pace chainring on his TT bike this morning? There was a couple of shots where you could clearly see the chainline raising and lowering through his pedal stroke.
