You solder the pads right?
In series or parallel

I was thinking more if you had soldered them wrong. as they have a " - + " on each side.
It is rather odd that all three don't work.

Check your power supply to.
Then go back to the orignal set of LEDs just to make sure something else isn't wrong

Maybe they are like a few of the old Seoul P4's which had the - and the + around the wrong way

project update:

I had a good chat with Brent , our machinist at work.
we discussed concepts and design ideas of how to solve the various technical issues involved with making the light.

net result is that he is now super interested in the scheme and has volunteered to machine the housing.
I should have a prototype by monday to show off.
and he's keen to spin out copies once we get a working version
i still have to solve the mounting question but i have an idea or two floating around.

keep listening folks, its getting good.

it's a triple in the works, to be a neat fit with the cutter mr11 kit that came out a week or two back.

should be easily modified to take a bigger driver like a bflex though.

i presume you follow the lighting threads on MTBR? theres some great stuff happening over there.

the curtain rail idea looked quite cool, as well as easy to make to any size.
