Jungle tracks! Finally got back up into the Akatawara's without thinking I should go kill myself on the biggest hill around. Took a fun ride down Co-Op.

Anyone know what has happened to Ho-Chi-Minh I checked out Trailforks and Strava and it appears it's been totally removed. A new track in a similar spot, Flywheel, has appeared. Is it a renaming??

Nice one shmoo. Do you have a picture wall with frame photos of you with various pros yet? Like an old school café.

Also this. https://www.pinkbike.com/news/trailforks-custom-basemap.html

Just need to learn how to load maps onto my 520. Anyone know of easy to follow method (or instructions), the ones on google seem pretty complicated.

Made a donation to trail fund and downloaded the NZ map.

Needed to remove the existing base map to get it to work (and rename this one) but sorted and working.

I thought there used to be a What I Learnt Today thread. Anyways, I learnt today that the Marsh Guard dude, Jason Marsh was a Kapiti local.

Kind of woot-worthy when there's a product you've been using for a number of years and you realise it was designed by a local guy, or at least was local once before travelling the world working with Greg Minnaars bikes......

Anton and Sam's wins at the Oceania XCO is woot worthy!

Just read about Antons race on Facebook, sounds like some race.

AC wrote:Probably the craziest race of my life! Successfully managed to defend my Oceania Elite title in scorching hot conditions in Aus. After dropping my first bottle I suffered for a while in the 33 degree heat and humidity. Things then took a further turn for the worse when I had come back from 6th place and over a minute back with 3 laps to go after almost throwing the race away with a stupid crash on lap 2 while out in front. Somehow I managed to rip my chain away from my chain guide in the process and get it all tangled up around my crank and cassette. After a relatively short run/roll to the tech zone my mechanic Matt got me back on track quickly and into the race again. Stoked with how I rode to come back to the head of the race. I had a hard time following Jared Graves on the descents the first lap! Surely with a 4th place finish he cements himself as the greatest all round cyclist of our time. Also cheers to Cameron Ivory for putting up a great fight for the win on the last lap and to Toowoomba for putting on a great week! Looking forward to coming back sometime. Cheers all!
