Yeah, and if you can't beat 'em, ban 'em

Sure a V8 sounds good

But there's no denying the power and handling of Rod Millen's 2.0 litre 4 cylinder turbo Tacoma. Sounds pretty good too.

Youve not see this then.

Been seeing pictures, and now video, for what seems like a couple of years but still haven't seen it moving under it's own power.

These engines are capable of making over 3000 HP with boost using many of the stock components

3000hp AWESOME you'd want a really long throttle and some wide arsed tyres for that amount of power.

I don't know there is that vid of some Russians (or the likes) in a tank doing drifts on ice. I don't think the tracks helped that much.

Interesting... you can now opt out of having your address easily obtainable from your rego plate.
Probably a good idea if you're driving around with nice bikes strapped to the car.

https://transact.nzta.govt.nz/transacti ... entry.aspx

Changes to access were planned to come into force on 1 April 2011. However, due to delays in the supporting regulations the Ministry will extend this until 1 May 2011. These changes will better protect your personal information on the Motor Vehicle Register. Currently, the names and addresses held on the Motor Vehicle Register are publicly available to any person who provides the registration plate number of the vehicle and pays the prescribed fee.

After 1 May names and addresses from the register will only be available for the purposes of: enforcement of the law; maintenance of the security of New Zealand; collection of charges imposed or authorised by an enactment; and the administration and development of transport law and policy. Anyone who wishes to obtain names and addresses held on the register outside of these purposes will have to make an Official Information Act request to the NZTA. When considering such a request the NZTA must weigh up the public interest in releasing the information sought against the privacy rights of the person concerned.

I opted in to opt out last year too. I’d had enough of the stalkers.
