175/70/13's on 6.5 inch minilites on my starlet was pretty damn sweet, not too much tire, plenty of sidewall to make it comfey and a nice wide rim to stop the sidewall from rolling. Was great for gravel and tar.

 Its nothing but stupid.

no it's not, have you tried it?

No, for reasons below.
A: I'm not tight enough to skimp on something as important as tyres
B: Its like running into a brick wall at full speed, I don't have to try it to know.
C: Why would anyone want to do something drifters do on a road going car.

Wouldn't a 175 be wider then a 6.5 rim? or at least the same width.

nah a 175 would typically be mounted on a 4.5 to 5 inch rim. if you're running a shorter sidewall then definitely run similar widths.

The riding on Ubin is about as good as it gets in Singapore, the local crew have been doing their best to improve the trails in and around Singapore. The bumboat costs $2.50 for you and $2 for your ride (each way)

What's best - the tiger beer tastes damn good after a 2 hour ride in 32 degrees C!!

Is that a single or twin turbo? Can't remember which year they went back to singles...

It'd be a single, twin scroll turbo I think. From memory, they went back to single turbo about 04??

Nice. That bodyshape is when they went to the single turbo.

Yip, nice single turbo. Mucho grunt. Apparently 210kW? I dunno, just a bloody lovely car to drive.

Yup. When Subaru moved to that shape, they reverted back to a single turbo
