Trying to keep my budget around 5kish preferably under though. It'll be used for the odd little roadtrip to races around the north and possibly south island, and will probably be run over by drunken mates after a party.
Or I could always put the money into repainting my impreza and getting some half decent alloys.
w3rd. Toyota for the win in the reliability and durability race every time. Had you considered a Caldina? Just that bit bigger than a 'rolla for more road trip comfort.
Yes toyta for the win, i love my AE92 and won't be parting with it anytime soon, unless maybe I find a 20V carib (although i'd still probly keep the FXGT)
but yes if you want room for all the boys and toy's a Caldina might be a plan, just budget on some lowered springs at least (they tend to be a bit boat like in the handling IMHO)
I was going to make a witty remark about buying a Honda rather than a Toyota but then realised Honda doesn't make a nice Wagon

the rolla's the way to go. you can pick one up for dirt cheap and they just go and go and go. Mines running on old black oil, been through how many pairs of tyres, been reved till it cant rev anymore, batterys buggered and have to push start it, a CV boot ripped off and went flying after hitting the wheel as it was doing a burnout and it still runs sweet.
