I thought it was about time to post up a couple of my bikes.

The Pink/Purple Bauer runs a 42:14 gear on the road and is my daily commuter/road trainer when the road bike is afraid of the rain, or I feel like punishing myself.

The Montari runs a 34:15 (magic gear) for running around bottle lake or up through the port hills excetera. Basically just my fun bike for stuffing around.

Well to be honest "stuffing around" does include a bit of XC racing.... and you will notice that the ceramic coating is a bit stuffed. ;)

Right, so spec is something like:

DMR Trailstar frame - BMX BB horizontal dropouts
Sherman Fireflys set at 90mm
YD Opens with Hayes 6 inch v-cuts
Ditch Witch rims, WTB hubs
Hussefelts (will porbably upgrade to cromos at some stage)

going to throw on a headtsock stem/wingbar combo and some gooey platforms, either holzfeller or v12's.

Oh, and I'll probably go full monty on the drivetrain with a DX cog and 1 1/18th chain if i get bored.

Why do people have their seats so fucken high?

Ive noticed this on a lot of XC bikes, which is fine seeing as though they do a fair amount of riding sitting down, but for a free rider?

Dude, how can you even jump with it this high? :paranoid:
