Somebody rode the drallier into a tree, so i chopped off the cage, so now it's just an adjustable jokey-wheel of sorts, works really well actually.

and just to keep squished_cat happy i have taken off the reflector

Yay! Happy!

Nice bike anyway, used to have one with gears and it rocked.

yeah, I got it to use as a trail bike rather than a jumper, because i have short legs, and i can really stand over this and ride it proper.

i didn't intend to go SS with it, but i was swapping over some different shifters and found my cable was too short for what i wanted to do. and i still havent got another one, wont bother either for a while i think, it's real good in Vegas as a SS so i think I'll just see how it goes.

Went to vegas today for the Maiden Voyage of the SS. Thoroughly enjoyed it (even the hard bits). Only rode easy tracks, but am pretty unfit right now. Still, this bike made the easy tracks a challenge. I'm not sure if I ever want to go back. :paranoid:

I used all 4 four gears on my single speed today - sit, stand, push, and carry (over a tree that had fallen along the track. Didn't have to use the fifth gear, cursing.

Here's me on touchdown after a short flight.

Looking good Mel!

I really must take my freshly painted beast for its maiden voyage....Shame i miraculously wake up with hangovers and feel too sick to go for a ride :paranoid:

Nice one Mel - Vegas is just perfect for SSing, what ratio you running ?

I was on 32:16 today, but would have been better off on 32:18 (I'm unfit). Didn't do A Trail or BRNT or anything like that, just the easy peasy stuff.

Still, more than Mikey did, huh. :sly:

Yeah, count me in too. My new SS is about 1 week away from being finished. And my 2 riding buddies are wussing out on a more regular basis now that its winter.

Also, good on ya Mel.

Way way more than Mikey.

32:16 is good for Vegas, though I am soft and havent gone back from 32:18 yet.

BRNT is wicked with 32:16, once you get there...
