ive an idea, get a shovel, go to your backyard, make some lumps in the ground and roll over them. saves anyone having to keep an eye on you while you cross the road to the real trails

And while you are at it, stop digging stupid holes in the jumps up at the Makara skills area!

Click the red link on the top that says "Groups and Lists" and find the one that says welli track lovers (or similar) and click "join".

If you join in on trackbuilding then you might not be shown where trails or jumps are on the very first day that you go out, but you will eventaully realise what is involved, learn how to do it, and get access to things you did not know existed.

NOBODY its going to tell you where to go and find jumps or trails just becasue you jump up and down demanding to know. ESPECIALLY if you show that you do not know how to respect and appreciate them.

Um, just wondering if these guys could be told off in a more prodictive manner? I saw the So Waddic post, and it looked a little harsh. These guys are young and into having fun. At the age they are, they probably are ony dimly aware of other peoples riding ability and consequenses of building un authorised jumps on tracks. I have had a word to them about that.

These guys are enthusiastic and hard working, lets not put them off too much a?

Cheers.

I agree.

I am trying to encourage joining in without getting too much into a "you guys suck" attitude though I see my above post in the context of the previous ones could be seen like that. We were all young once though for me it is perhaps more of a dim distant memory than for others.

There is not much to be gained by finger pointing and online slapping.

theres a couple of doubles up in the melrose end of the town belt... go to that historical house... past the little drop... and turn let at the track... that'll bring u there... there are small jumps dotted around that whole area if u wanna have a look...
