Port Hills Road Leaderboard - Htfu Edition

Postby Rik on Thu 24/Nov/16 10:44am

Clearly the hill climbing around the Port Hills is not hard enough, because a harder leaderboard was asked for.

Eight climbs, all short, all STEEP!

I did the bridlepath one on three ring MTB and even that nearly killed me.

Since it was nice today I did all the climbs. They wont upload into the leader board. Will enter manually. I'm glad Rik mentioned using his mtb. I wouldn't have made it up some of them without my triple

I'm sorry your upload didn't work. I can see that no riles have been uploaded. I had no problems uploading. Sent me your file or attach it here and I'll see if I can see what's going on.

Did the Christchurch-side ones all in one go just now West to East - ending with Maffeys/Soleares/Glenstrae is agony! If I target them individually I reckon I could smash the times I've put up.

Question to everyone having difficulty uploading files to vorb. Could Ask you what the size of you GPX files? I've got a hunch what's going wrong, and need you to confirm it.

Also, all your horror stories are NOT encouraging me to try any of these :hmmm:

I think it is a size thing. When I tried uploading the gpx as an attachment to this message it said the file was to big.

Great (well actually it's not great) thanks Noel. Now all I have to do is fix it!

I have upped the file size limit.

Can whoever was having a problem try re-uploading their file again and let me know how you get on.

Thank you, sorry for the inconvenience
