Carbon Bike Repairs Nz - Are They Still In Business?

Anyone know if these guys are still in business?
Sent a carbon wheel up a while now and despite a couple of emails and left phone messages no response.
Just wondering if my wheel has disappeared down a black hole.....

They sound like douchebags.

We'll get back to you when we feel like it,..... we're booked months in advance dahhhling.

I would have chosen someone who could be bothered to reply to emails and texts and perhaps been bothered to pick up the phone.

I'm inclined to agree with nagem, seems as though customer service is an afterthought in general for them.

That said, their Facebook page provides somewhat of an explanation....

Probably not douchebags just appears they out of their depth as small business owners not being able to deal with demand and customer service at the best of times, let alone at a time of crisis.....

Sad that demand and success is the downfall of many small businesses.

So anyway, it appears there's a great business opportunity if you can repair carbon in NZ!!

Well that's some comfort, I am not in a rush for my wheel just wanted to know it hadn't disappeared.
I guess he is pretty distracted at the mo but setting up an auto email reply and a note on the website would probably save him a lot of time and worried customer.

Good idea, you could send him an email suggesting that.

We are very much still in Business.

We have over the last few years had a few major life upheavals that have disrupted us sum what with a Death of both in-laws and another Parent permanently disabled both physically and mentally and my own spinal surgery needing nearly a years recovery.

But that is behind us and as of now we repair and paint restore more that 5 projects a week and at last count we had repaired more than 1500 frames

There are many opinions on Carbon Repair processes in Social Media and I generally stay out of them as they are just that, Opinions.

I prefer for the Repair to speak for itself.

We have a contact page on our website and we always reply to this unless it is trolling or spam.

Just as a matter of Interest the Repaired Scott on our website Front Page was an uninsured near new bike that the Customer insisted on repairing and it has been used as a daily commuter ever since for nearly 7 years.

That maybe the case but i had to send someone round to your address to retrieve a wheel that you had had for months.
You never replied to any communication and you took all contact details down.
Your going to need to do a lot of pr.

ASP in Christchurch get a fair few bike repairs through and their work appears to be pretty top notch.

Don't have to visit them in person to get your unrepaired parts back months later either.

Imagine thinking it's okay to have someone's valuables just sitting at your place for months, doing nothing with them, and ignoring all of their attempts to get their stuff back.
