Fat Tyres In Road Calipers?

Postby Scotty on Sun 8/May/16 6:27pm

Thinking I might have a nudge at some cyclocross races this winter, and I thought about just breaking out the old roadie.

I'm looking for info on what'd the fattest tyres I can squeeze in an Ultegra 6600 caliper? I know mud clearance will be shithouse anyway but this is a case of making do 'cos i don't have a cross rig. :(

More dependant on frame design I think. Oli's Benson will fit a 32slick in a campy short reach.

I run 35mm Sammy slicks in my Frankencross bike which has 6600 calipers
