Happy New Year Everyone

Postby Rik on Sat 2/Jan/16 8:42am

Happy new year to each and everyone of you.

I'm looking forward to another great summer packed full of riding and all the resulting post ride banter.

Happy riding

Happy New Year, everyone. Any other new resolutions?
I've locked in some relating to:
1) exercise-doing
2) photography-doing
3) language-learning
4) music-playing

Such a fool - Why did I pick such a big year? In hindsight I should have waited for a standard 365-day one.

Hasn't started well.
Didn't show up for my first ride this morning.
Something about getting out of bed at 4am to ride 400 hilly km in the rain just wasn't that appealing.

My aim this year is to get back into HR training and find some speed.

Don't worry - With this being a Leap Year, that can be the day that doesn't count.

Happy New Year Rik and all Vorbii.

Resolved to getting moar sleep and eating betterer this year.
Pretty happy with the amount of riding getting done, just need to keep using the foam roller, spiky massage ball and Epsom salt baths to maintain the carcass...

Pretty pleased with 2016 totals so far

It's not much, but yesterday was the first day without family. Felt a couple of twinges in the legs, which I guess is my leg's way of saying 'Hey dude, you can't use us to only walk to the fridge to get more chocolate for two weeks, then suddenly expect us to dance up the hills, durr'

Dance up what Hills?

I can't even imagine that 760m:50km ratio you have there. Bananas.

Good distance for the year-so-far though, keep it up.
