Mate has the Strokers (hur hur) and they're not bad.
Gone for the shimano upgrade kit myself, but wouldn't hate them.

This thread stemmed from a friend going to Germany to hire a bike to go riding.
They must run front brake on the left so he flipped the levers.
I had assumed Shimano brakes aren't designed to be run upside-down but apparently they were OK (this I find hard to believe).

Don't think I'd get my head around swapping left/right braking after all these years of muscle memory.

tis indeed tricky. I've always been a Yankee style (right hand rear) and recently purchased a bike, not swapping the brakes over for several rides. I was super cautious and really struggled with it, constantly reminding myself "left hand rear" like a mantra. Also found two fingers on the rear brake lever, one finger for front helped - especially if I accidentally grabbed a handful.

At that point you'd be better off with no brakes.

I have a fond memory of going to do a massive skid on a gravel pathway on a Swedish friends bike... And staying on top of the resulting front skiddzzz.
