Mobile Work Stand Options?

Postby Scotty on Sun 12/Apr/15 7:14am

Alright,

I already have a big park tool workshop stand, it's awesome and all, but sometimes I would like to relocate to the sunshine and warmth without having to wrestle it out of the garage. I'm getting back into going to events and whatnot so having something I can take on the road would be good.

Don't want to spend a fortune (obviously) but what do peeps think of these?

Any other suggestions in the under two-hundy range?

I've got a park pcs10 which I use for everything. Seems to be pretty good and has lasted about 5 years so far with no dramas

A pcs-9 could be had for somewhere around the two hundred mark if you're on good terms with your LBS

As someone who uses a Foe's Power Clamp pneumatic workstand daily in a shop that sells Park stands, I can recommend the Vulcan

I have one that has been used to assemble easily more than a thousand bikes and has been generally abused due to it's cheap cost
It only has a cracked foot and the clamp bolt for the rotating head needed replacing once

If it weren't still working so well, I'd get another
