Good thinking, don't put your sav in anything over 37 degrees Celsius.

I'm sorry, are we still talking about food and beverages or is "Putting ones saveloy into coffee" a euphemism for something that I am not familiar with and likely have no interest in becoming acquainted with.

Enjoy winter morning run.

Let black coffee cool to 40 degrees.
Dunk chilly saveloy. Enjoy warmth.
Nuke coffee 10 seconds while drying saveloy (on the curtains, for traditionalists).
Enjoy!

If it's burning up on re-entry you should visit your doctor.
