The SS experience is hard work on the hills and trails around Wgtn.

The Thru-axles are due to lack of choice with wheels. The rear wheel started life as a 142x12 on a specialised, until I modified it heavily.

Could knock off a bit more weight with ZTR Crest rims. The 29er fork was purchased on radme. Came with a Carbon Frame & Fork from Ali-express, according to the previous owner.
One of the 12K carbon frame/fork combos that cost about $699 plus freight. Similar to others on T7, and radme for approx. $899. Is a beautiful fork, and with a big brand name on it, probly costs a mint.

Thru-axles are mean and if you run them you are a boss

29ers don't go up hills though, according to a customer I talked with a couple of weeks ago. He seemed to know what he was talking about, as he also told me he has a bicycle made of kevlar and reckoned he could get Chris King pressfit BB bearings from CRC for $80 by emailing a guy at CRC and asking, they don't have them on the main site but if you email them and ask they will hook you up. He also said that you can get tungsten carbide BB bearings and they are the best shit out there. So yeah, real in the know guy

A bullet proof bike would be a huge advantage.

Nice beastie.

Impressive that you have a container load of bikes. My wife would castrate me while I slept, if my bike collection got over Ten.

Just finished putting this sucker together today . . really stoked with how it came up, considering the history of my bike

Anyway, frame should last at least 1 ride (hopefully) but the rest of it will go onto a new frame when I get it

Guess the frame and you get a chocolate fish
