Thank You!! Wellington Trail Builders Rule!!

Last night went for a ride with my mate who's from out of town.
We started in Aro st and rode Transient, sawmill, fencline, car parts extension, barking emu, red rocks, new(?) single track at the bottom of red rocks, pariwhero, the road back up to sawmill, roller coaster, highbury fling, and transient back down to the car.
Absolutely epic ride, including two trails I hadn't ridden before and 1 I didnt know existed. Was totally stuffed at the end but it was so, so good. Also showed off how good wellington is to a mate who has been riding a fair bit. He rated it as good as anything he has ever ridden.
Some of the work gone into building these trails is unbelievable!! The amount of rock that must have been laboriously dug & cleared to make sweet sweet single track is just plain awesome.
Enough gushing.
I just wanted to say thanks to the trail pixies. You guys rock!

running those same trails on wednesday night it was fantastic to see so many riders out making the most of mint singletrack.....so close to the city !

I'm coming over to Wellington in March for the Karapoti and a cruise around, do you have a Garmin file of that ride? would be great to just be able to sample the best of Wellington without too much searching. We have the Kennett book, but a Garmin map of your ride to follow would be better

Thanks, but it seems I didn't explain myself well, what I was actually after is garmin files for the ride that yak71 described in the original post. I don't think I will get lost racing the Karapoti, should be a few people about to follow, I hope to be going to fast to bother checking my garmin for directions
