X-ups

Postby DHhucks on Fri 28/Oct/11 1:19pm

I'm after some advice about x-ups, my problem being that if I turn my bars in the air I just go into a whip  . Is this normal or is it my technique? Also does anyone know how to do a decent whip?

Whipping: Your rear pedal should be the the one you push the bike with, so if you stand with your left foot forward, the whip will be easier to the left, as your right foot will push far easier. Start by turning your upper body to the right around your hips, and the bike will follow, then its just a matter of finding what works best for you.

X-ups:

Turn your bar and roll your wrists so that they can rotate around backwards on the bar, but keep your body straight.
