Bowenvale Exit Of Vic Park - Rock Blasting 5th To 9th Sept

Postby Trail on Fri 2/Sep/11 8:07pm

From the track status page.

From Mon 5th-Fri 9th Sep-blasting/rock rolling will be occuring above Bowenvale valley Track. This page will be updated next on Sunday 5th Sep. Enjoy riding. Nick Singleton

From a mate.

There will be a big effort going on in the Bowenvale valley next week. Could you please advise club riders and parents of this-it will be an extremely dangerous place to try to venture into. Sentries will be in place-while blasting and rock rolling is underway-but the consequences of someone sneaking past could be tragic.
Cheers

If raadi garden looks ridiculous to you, you may want to not worry about lava flow for awhile...

I dunnooooo.

I'd ride Lava Flow. Not fast, but I'd ride it. It only gets dangerously hard when you try and get down hella fast.

Raadi garden on the other hand is f'ing dodgy no matter how fast or slow you go :p

No.

To be honest its hard to compare Lava Flow to any track in victoria park. It's got same level of difficulty as tracks like Pedo Alley and Old Nats but more to do with technicality instead of out-right steepness.

Lava flow isn't that bad, there is sissy lines around everything.
Riding it fast is where it gets challenging as with most tracks.
