Is This Poor Form For A Business These Days?

eggressive or aggressive ?

Went to look at Singularcycles site and this message comes up:

Site Temporarily Removed
This account has been suspended.
For any enquiries, please contact our Accounts Department.

Could a "this site is currently offline" be more appropriate given eggressive's ethics and principles?

I sent the Director a friendly email suggesting he consider a more aligned [with principles] stance given his message affects how the public see his company, and he did nothing but show poor form bleating about singular. I especially 'liked' these comments:
"We are not, however, suckers. When people take the piss, we feel justified in returning in kind"
'Being trustworthy doesn't mean being "nice"
"bottom line is that peer pressure is a very legitimate tool for achieving payment"

Sure, there's a bill to be paid. and may be fair enough, or is it another case of bullshit on the AboutUs page?

Certainly doesn't inspire one to do business with them, does it.

The director’s comments seem reasonable…depending on how Singularcycles has been treating them (the exception re the “piss” comment).
If they’re really way behind in payment maybe offline was the only reasonable option.

Assuming the bills haven't been paid in a while then seems perfectly reasonable. Why would you expect them to host for free?

No disputing that. But if you were in the market for web hosting, would you go there?

Why not? Do you expect them to continue hosting for free for ever once someone stops paying? If so, why would anyone pay beyond the first month?

They might still be fine to deal with but (hopefully) every business has a limit – that’s their’s.

I think it's poor form to start this thread - you've managed to impugn both Singular and Eggressive at the same time, to what ends I can't fathom. :eh:
