The Great Cranleigh Kauri Run

This is a trail run which is staged on the stunnigly beautiful northern Coromandel Peninsula. There are 3 distances on offer 32km trail run 13km trail run New Ultra distance 80km the first 2 distances are also open to walkers For each competitor that takes part, we plant a kauri tree, to date we have planted close to 1,600 trees. Ben Ruthe winner in 2007/2008 has this to say about the event " If you enjoy running because of the company and good friends, beautiful scenery and testing yourself, then the Great Cranleigh Kauri Run is for you. With a real sense of community the event organisers really make you feel part of the family in this adventure run. I reccomend it to anyone wanting a journey, not just a race".
