Remote for my cars alarm decided to fall of my key ring the other day , can u just buy a universal remote and get it programmed? its a uniden alarm ,Any one know whats the best thing to do?

Mr Minit stores seem to stock a bunch of them - albeit at possibly ridiculous prices. I went to buy a factory Mitsi one from them the other day, and it was about 80 bucks.
