Cycling Australia:
"Monday, 31 January 2011
Reigning Madison world champions Leigh Howard and Cameron Meyer remain on top in the Berlin Six Day race with a one lap advantage over their nearest rivals.

The 100th running of the event features 18 teams of world class Madison riders but the Aussie young guns are looking strong at the halfway mark.

Meyer flew to Germany straight from his victory in the Santos Tour Down Under while Howard had a few more days to acclimatise to the European conditions.

Sitting in second place are German pair Robert Bartko and Roger Kluge who are one lap behind but have the highest score of 183 points. If they can notch up 200 points they will claim a bonus lap that would bring back to the top of the standings.

In third place are 2010 winners Alex Rasmussen and Michael Mörköv of Denmark who have 154 points. Howard and Meyer have so far collected 126 points."
