that will be an awesome team. Riis's calculating style should help to offset Contador's instinctive attacking style.. to a certain degree. i read somewhere else that Sorensen is staying, and that Contador is bring a few riders accross.. no suprises who that will be.

I think knowing who is coming and going will be of more importance. I read about 4 others from Astana are coming including Navarro. If they lose the likes of Voigt & O'Grady, which is being discussed, that would be a big lose because these guys know how to ride. That being said, they aren't young guys anymore. And with these guys gone, where is Cancellara's Classic support. So for me I'll wait until I see the roster changes.

I read that it sounds like he is losing quite a lot of the support staff as well. Cancellera is still under contract for 2011 so he has to stay but it sounds like something of a mutiny. Is brad mcgee staying on?

Riis wants Contador to do the Grand Slam - the three Grand Tours in a single year! :o

Most definately YES. Signed on with Riis Cycling for another 2 years just before the TDF. With his wife and children now living back here in Australia he will be commuting back and forward during the year.

Man a team time trial with Contador and Fabian on the same team

Still a shame to see a powerful team split up. Then again - it will make for another interesting tour in 2011 woo hoo :)

I wonder - would Cancellara have jumped with the Schlecks if he wasn't still on contract?
