Tour De France 2010

Postby Bigfoot on Sun 4/Jul/10 3:50am

Well in interests of keeping the miscellaneous BS chatter out of Tugboats thread, I thought this might be prudent.

Prologue starts momentarily, here we go!

As stated in another thread, I think this will be the first and only day of the tour where I can get up and go for a blast on the roadie before the stage... 0830 is a much more reasonable start time than 0500 :(

My brother thought he woke up in Singapore and not Toronto his first summer there!

It looks positively miserable in Holland right now...

It looks pretty darn humid in Rotterdam right now! Some of the riders are just about coming to a stop to avoid sliding over on the corners.

The womblings have got themselves up early to watch this - such devotion, they don't do that to watch the aussie cricket anymore. They're hoping for ABC to win the tour - Anyone But Contador! :D

Damn roadies can't corner for dog shit in the wet, broad corner about 3+ lanes wide and still going around it at 2 miles an hour.

I wonder if they are going to mention the 'motor on bike' thing on every stage?

I had to laugh, within the first 10 seconds of our live coverage, they rolled out the old favourite "This is Jens Voight, you can tell its Jens because it looks like he is having a fight with his bike, and the bike normally loses"

Still, great to be back into July once again, so much to look forward to :)
