Warranty Question......

Postby wuffy on Tue 27/Apr/10 3:02pm

Ok, so last year around Feb I got a MacBook from harvey norman, around June my screen glass on the outside of the LCD mysteriously cracked and our insurance people replaced the whole laptop (apparently the glass protector is the most expensive part, go figure :eh: ) ...

What I want to know is, can I re-sell the broken one? Or is that illegal? They don't ask for me to do anything with the broken one, and they returned it to me, everthing works, including the screen, but it's got cracks on the protector thing. I've known in bike frame replacement people have had to saw up frames so they can't be re-used at all. Is this the same case? I don't wanna kill it :(

You can do whatever you want with it if they give/sell it to you. Surprised they replaced it though.. unless your LCD panel was scratched too (most likely) ;)

Do they lay well? :paranoid:

Could be tempted if you have a golden-egg-laying goose/gold-shitting donkey.
