Something strange probably, they have previously run 150mm rear hubs on the lower end dh bikes, 12x135mm isn't new for that bike, current model S-Works demo has it.

Utilising an asymmetrical design — producing the visually-absent seat tube on the non-drive-side

Its only visually absent.

not that strange, with the old demos it was to keep the rear end narrow and keep the rear mech out of the way.

no, it creates a problem you never knew you had. Now you need to find good beer in a can!

Three Boys here in CHCH have just started putting their Pils in a can which would make for a good contents for that tool.

Hud For Cyclists

Postby 13daza on Tue 19/Aug/14 10:52pm

I came across this new product the other day while browsing the web looking for something totally unrelated ,It is apparently due for release sometime in September but they're taking orders now ($599 US) .
Its basically a high powered smart bike computer that displays your ride data (and other connected devices) via a HUD in the glasses with the ability to add and develop apps like a smartphone . For example I can see an app connected to a bluetooth button cam on the back of your helmet and a little window in the HUD with a view of whats coming up behind you ..... awesome

My immediate reaction was " how to get this past the missus ? " :sly:

Proportionally the visor is too short and the chin guard is too long IMHO.
