Looking at the Santa Cruz rear suspension linkage........

Then looking at the Anthem Maestro

Going cross-eyed at the DW Link

Who can explain the Plus & Minus of the above in simple terms ?

I don't need to know 'who ripped off what design' please................

Cheers

I'd be much more interested in an innovative front fork solution.

I like me a nice hardtail, but god damn it you're right. I was constantly amazed at how well my old 5" trailbike pedaled.

What solution would you want for a fork? Do you mean some sort of electronic "terralogic" (Electrologic?) system?

DW > VPP/VPP2 > Maestro

DW works the best. Maestro is the cheapest. SC (VPP) offer some of the lightest frames in their category, with suspension that works very well.

Anyone disagreeing with that generalisation is a communist.

DW-Link has the best kinematics.

It still does too!

Given there isn't a kinematic solution I'm thinking that one based on accelerometers (say one each side of the seals) with a damn fast actuator and lots of signal processing could be the schnitz.

Then again I could just use the lockout and be saved by the blow-off fufu valve when I forget...

surely frequency dependent damping could iron out pedal bob in forks, tune the lsd to eliminate 60-90Hz

Czech this one out - simple as!

Also, Schmoo is onto it - it's all about resonance.

What is that frame ? Looks like a Santa Cruz

I obviously don't spend near enough time staring at bikes.. Will need to address that serious shortcoming.

You also need to look at a Yeti SB-66 to really confuse yourself.

DW is much > than Horst.

Having had both horst Turner and and DW Turner I would much rather be riding the DW (and really enjoyed riding it this evening!)
