Ironman 2010 - Race Numbers

Postby tricks121 on Tue 16/Feb/10 11:12am

Go on post them up ...

I'm 445 this year.

Interesting stat - same age group but last year I was 307 ... must be lots more in the younger age groups this year.

394 for me. mine have always been in the 400's before. Damned if I can figure out how the numbering works.

when I requested number 179 I got told it didn't fit in with the system so there must be some formula they use.

my better half is 908 and nervous as hell.

What age group is she in? 908 seems a long way back... weird...

I'm hellishly nervous but that's just because I can't ride a bike properly since I crashed ...

Any thoughts on how to sort my head out so I am not scared of down hills and taking right hand turns!!!

I crashed in the velodrome too.... :paranoid:

Haven't been back in there since - though that Welly drome is nasty ... hence the REALLY nice chin scar i now have to match Paula Tessario's!

Hmmmm, me thinks I'll just have to go up there and practice the hills I know I will get shaky arms on and ride up and down a few times!
