Mtb Skills Clinics - New Tool Belt Sessions

Postby MTBSC on Thu 4/Feb/10 10:23am

The Toolbelt Sessions

The Toolbelt Sessions are a long awaited range of shorter clinics, more like sessions, tackling one off skills such as bunny-hops, manuals, squaring a corner and pedal wheelies. The clinic entails a one hour lesson on the skill and then we spend the following hour or two practicing. There are two Sessions per day; 9 -12 and 1 - 4pm.

The sessions are listed below in their order of bookability;

Level 1
Phundamentals
Womens only Phundamentals

Level 2
Trailmaster 1 - Attack
The Developmentals (Level 1 exempt)

Level 3
Trailmaster 2 - Corners
Trailmaster 3 - Drops
Toolbelt Session - Manuals
Toolbelt Session - Squaring a corner

Level 4
Trailmaster 4 - Pumping
Toolbelt Session - Drops refresher
Toolbelt Session - Bunny-hops

So that it is less confusing we have incorporated all of the clinics into a Four Level layout. It is very important that any rider wishing to get into the later Trailmaster clinics or Toolbelt Sessions complete the Phundamentals and Trailmaster 1. From then on you can pick and choose depending on your interests.

If you are interested in doing a Tool Belt Session then let us know.

Thanks for the welcome, but Gabby has been on Vorb a while ;) search.php?search_id=egosearch

This is Zane (one of the Chch coaches) posting up the MTB Skills Clinic information. The photo of Gabby taking a clinic in the avatar was the only photo I had of someone taking a clinic!!

You could be using the same technique as Dodzy uses to manual after one session :sneaky:

To actually ride all the way down the track on your back wheel like he does might take a bit more practice!
