Marathon Training

Postby Lynskey on Thu 10/Dec/09 12:33am

Hey all, looking for a bit of advice.

With the new year I figure a new goal is in order. I'm lining up the Wellington Marathon in June and want to hear the consensus on training. Are there any good training plans available on the internet or is a coach or local marathon clinic pretty crucial? May be especially pertinent to me because I wanna keep some road/mtb cycling and swimming as cross training, but more run-centric to have a good crack at the Marathon distance. I've run two Halfs, both around the 1:35 mark, first with 6 weeks training, the second with no training.

Cheers

Link up with Scottish. Great club, and you can get coaching for free.
