Accommodation Suggestions?

Where's good to stay handy to Woodhill? Normally I'm looking for dirt cheap place to crash but seen as the trip to check out woodhill is a surprise for hubby's birthday perhaps bunks isn't quite the best idea Crap, I've even booked a babysitter. lol
Looking online looks like Parakai might be handy? Or is downtown AKL not too far anyhow.

Pref something with a spare 'bed' for his bike, caus he's kinda attached and doesn't like to leave it on the back of the car overnight.

There must be mtb friendly places around there?

kumeu or helensville might have somewhere.
