nice! Those old blizzards are sweet, those look like v-brake levers though? The brakes should work a bit better with proper canti levers on it. I hope you find a fork soon too, I think you'd make short work of that one

Yup V-brake levers with a pull ratio adjustment ;) Should not be too far off canti levers.

Yeh, one run down Vic park and I forget how many times I bottomed the forks out

Went for a ride this evening... got freakin stormed on big time. Really nice evening heading up the hill. Warm and still... there was a big black cloud advancing from the south, but we thought we might beat it...

we were wrong  and abandoned ride halfway up Worsleys after a severe pelting of hail. Coming down in the sloppy hail and mud was quite fun, but the ice cream headaches riding down the road were the pits!!

Dont worry. There will be a next time  I will give you a heads up for any missions we have planned.

I think the trip was a bit of an eye opener for Chris. A bit different to what he is used to :D He loved it tho...

Yeh, my uber-tacky DH tyres at 15 PSI were still having trouble hanging on in places

All good fun tho!! :D

Last year we got a number of Ski one day and hike-a-bike the other weekends in. The conditions can still be great for biking in Winter.

Yeh, it is not so secret. There are a number of tracks up into the Richmond Ranges from the North Bank of the Waiau River if you go up and along past where you go into the Wakamarina. Being a Forest Park rather than a National Park means that bikes are not excluded from the park. Riding involves a lot of walking uphill with your bike on your back, and for many people the tracks we were riding might involve a fair bit of walking on the way back down the hill too
