The first section of Sketchy Lines sees Kelly McGarry hitting up Queenstown hotspots.

Note: Originally the first section of Sketchy Lines featured Sean Kennedy riding in the Southern Alips. This section has been voluntarily withdrawn from Vorb after it was brought to our attention that a few of the shots featured riding on ecologically fragile scree slopes which contain a number of rare species of plant.

The status of this terrain was unknown to everyone involved in the making Sketchy Lines and was brought to our attention by the Department of Conservation via mountain biking advocates after the movie had gone live on Vorb.

We have withdrawn the section from Vorb as we do not wish to promote riding on ecologically fragile terrain or jeopardise future mountain bike access in the Southern Alps. Original plans to just remove the shots in the question were shelved as it was decided that this would negatively impact on the overall quality of "Sketchy Lines".

I hope you understand and support this action.

Great riding. Unfortunate all the unessersary corner sliding from Sean on the native singletrack. Mtbrs are much better (IMO) to promote a care and share attitude on tracks of that nature.

By care do you mean skidding down the track with skinny tires creating ruts like everyone else does. The tire sliding across the top of the ground does very little damage to the track.
