dont get me wrong because i cant do any of those tricks let alone do the actual jump... (none anywhere near me and im too lazy) but apart from that guy at 1:32 and the couple at the start they all look like theyre actually trying, no smoothness and flow. just my 2c

Luke Mccombie landing the first whip in a mtb comp in NZ
shame that that along with flips an tuck nohanders, backflips etc is only worth second

he broke his fork to and had to buy new ones for 600bucks plus his flights from welly but got nothing for second {Sad}

not being sponsered probly doesnt help though... {Eh?}

well he'll proly win next year unless some south island riders come up.
great event for the sport in new zealand tho there needs to be alot more like it,id say next year it will be alot bigger,i recon it should be held maybe in feb or march or something,cos alot of people have left ta go oversea by now.
just my thoughts but yeh look foward to next year {Smile}

Meow, louis got eliminated earlier when he crashed a 1 hand table. Luke came second.

the reason jared got first was because he was faultless and so smooth. he was the only one to use the whole course in one run. luke road real well but on the day i guess it just wasnt enuff. i loved his tailwhips tho, so sick
