Was great to see all the mums and dads out watching with kids. Cool idea to bring the Gully to town. Very impressive bike skills on show - amazed at how fast some riders made it down the rooty section off the road. Amused at how other riders had to get off and walk up the hills :D

II can confirm the womens and M1 1.
M1. 1. Hadley Boyce; 3 Gavin McCarthy
M2 1. Jeremy Blake; 2. ; 3. Michael Williamson; 4. Darren Henderson; 5. Jono Baddiley

I think. I scammed a look over the Hippy's shoulder.

I'll need a better rear tyre strategy for next year! Maybe something with real side walls :) mind you my running at the end seemed to pay off as I didn't end up DFL. I think spds too rather than flats...

You'd run faster in nikes than stiff mtb shoes.... ;)

Top two at least were on Santa Cruz Hecklers haha

In open women, Sasha Smith was nailing shit impressively fast on an XC bike

Same frame as your cross bike? But with 100mm travel. Awesome.

Winner of M2 also on a Heckler.

She only sold out a tiny bit - lowered seat and baggies :p

She was awesome.

(for the record, a brand spanking new pair of baggies arrived on my doorstep this morning :0)

What is the world coming to...

Anyone got pix au!?!? Number 82, Blue/White/Red TLD pyjama top, white shorts, black helmet (race run it will be sitting on some mong angle from destroying the rocloc in a crash lulz) on a silver Turner

I know there's a couple of me on Jordan's Flickr going very small off some stuff and looking like a goober

Actually my 510s are pretty soft and OK for running! My problem was the more the XC high roller that won't stay on the rim once the air has gone and so I had to try to lift the back wheel while running. That and getting out of the way of riders coming through as I made my way on two legs.

His cunning strategy was to ride up the hill for every run down - kept warmed up all day long :)
