Not entirely sure how they managed to do it but it involved an old triumph, a trailer and their steep driveway. Three fire engines (yes three, don't ask me why) and one crane later they managed to move it. :D

It's a good thing they have the bullbars and the foglights, considering how much offroading they do.

I have to admit, I think the Westfield is prettier, but I'd still happily take the Terra.
I've decided that I'd love to own a bike powered car one day...

That pretty much describes it!

Most of the super quick can-am/sports car style specials seem to either run the Haybussa (sp?) or Yamaha R1 engine these days. I also quite like the Haybussa powered wings and slick open wheelers that are turning up ex Japan. Super quick.

I have been trying to find pictures of another rather cool special that was for sale recently in the South Island, that a guy up the road in Sanson bought. Its a Fiat Bambina with an R1 engine in it. Its painted up in the Rossi Yamaha colours...it was on Trade me, but the listing has expired...bugger as it was really well built

A crane :eh: How stuck was it.

Cooper there was a link in the old thread of that Fiat.

Stuck enough to warrant a crane. He would have tried all other means to save his pride. Which makes it funnier.

Jacking up the right front wheel would have been a smart bet. Or putting it in 4wd and standing on the gas, not so good for the underside of the vehicle.

Fat middle aged 4x4 blokes would be putting it down to a lack of winches and a skid plate. Not crap driving in suburbia :D

that is great!

:D

if he was backing up the drive, he would have hit the fence, so he must have been driving down the drive and just wasnt looking where he was going.....
